Whipped Cream Cheese Frosting

This frosting offers the lightness of whipped cream but the stability that will keep your cupcakes looking irresistible!  If you have any leftover, it also works nicely on a piece of fruit.









1 pint heavy whipping cream

½ cup powdered sugar

8 ounces room temperature cream cheese

½ box vanilla pudding

1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Pour chilled whipping cream, powdered sugar, vanilla pudding and vanilla extract into a large bowl.  Whip until stiff peaks form.  Do not over mix or you’ll end up with sweet vanilla butter.  In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.  Fold cream cheese into whipped cream and frost those naked cupcakes.
