Tissue Paper Pumpkins

These diy tissue paper pumpkins are the perfect easy craft for Halloween!  I got inspired to make these after I saw some cute fabric pumpkins.  But, I wanted to make something that was going to be quick and simple to put together.  I only used two items to make these cute and colorful tissue paper pumpkins!  I used a pack of pastel tissue paper from Dollar Tree for these.  You can definitely customize the look by changing up the tissue paper design.

Materials

5 sheets tissue paper of your choice

green floral tape

Directions

To make the stuffing inside the pumpkins, take three sheets of tissue paper and ball them up individually.  Uncrumple two sheets and loosely wrap around the remaining balled up sheet.  If you want larger pumpkins, you can add a few more layers.  Then, place on two new sheets of tissue paper.  It’ll look like this:

Gather up the tissue paper around the stuffing until you get a nice little package.

Then, take the floral tape and wrap tightly around the gathered part on top to make the stem.  After you make the stem, give the end a twist to add a cute curl.

It takes no time to crumple and tape these tissue paper pumpkins together and you can use them for all kinds of Halloween decor!  I’m planning on using these for our trunk when we take the kids trunk or treating next week!  Check back for a post on that soon!

With Halloween just a few days away, this will work perfectly for last minute decor!  If you give this a try, I will love to see how your’s turn out!
