Mummy Costume

This mummy costume is one of the easiest costumes to make!  Halloween will be here in just a week and it’s one of the holidays that inspires me the most!  Growing up, I made costumes for my nieces and now, I get to have even more fun making them for my own children!

Recently, my daughter has been saying, “I want to be the mommy!”  So with the help of these super cute bandaids by Oh Joy and Bandaid, I’ve made her into a MUMMY!  Halloween can be filled with boo-boos but this is one costume that will take care of them too!

Materials:

1 white or tan long sleeve shirt

1 white or tan leggings

Oh Joy bandaids

2” wide strip of white or tan fabric long enough to tie around head

How to:

Peel the bandaids and stick them end to end in a line on the leggings and shirt.  You can make the lines straight from left to right or angle them for more texture.  Continue until all the fabric is covered.  It took my daughter and me 10.5 boxes of bandaids to cover her up and with mealtime and potty breaks, probably the whole day to finish!  But it was surely worth it to have her work on her fine motor skills from bandaid peeling and to see her face light up when she put the costume on!  Happy Halloween!  Please tag me on Instagram if you give this mummy costume a go!  @diy_bucket_list
