Valentine’s Day Tablescape

For someone who likes DIY party planning, I love it when I can find products that are beautiful and affordable.  I’m so glad Smarty Had a Party has products that speak to my event planning heart!  They are disposable but the quality is so good that you could wash and reuse them.  Their wide selection of partyware can help you create good vibes for any occasion!

With Valentine’s around the corner I’ve come up with a simple festive tablescape that will be perfect for a Galentine’s Day dinner or any Valentine’s Day party!  First, I used a light rose colored tablecloth to set the tone.  Then, I took some Italian ruscus leaves and placed them end to end to create a faux garland.  I added in a few flower heads to turn up the romance.  You can use real or artificial flowers and get really creative.  I also used some candy roses to give it a more fun and festive look.

For the place setting I used the fuchsia chargers as my base.  I just love the deep color of these and the contrast they give to the table.  Then, I layered on the Heritage Bone Gold Plastic China dinner plates.  I placed a light pink paper napkin on top of each dinner plate, making sure it hangs towards the bottom edge of the fuchsia charger.  Then, I continued to layer on the matching salad plate.  To finish it off, I put a few flower heads and some heart shaped chocolates on top.

For the flatware, I chose the Rose Gold Cutlery Plastic Fork Knife Spoon set.  The pinky gold color of these just go so well with Valentine’s Day.  They also add a little bit of glamour and sparkle to the table.

No setting is complete without drinkware.  I chose the 6 oz Renaissance Disposable Plastic Champagne Flutes since there’s a toast at every awesome party.  I also used the 10 oz Renaissance Disposable Plastic Wine Glasses since they match the flutes and can be used for water or other beverage.

There you have it!  An easy and beautiful romantic tablescape that is ready for your guests to gather around and make wonderful new memories!  Hope you all have a Happy Valentine’s Day!
