These Paw Patrol donuts came to the rescue when I needed a sweet treat for the birthday party table! I really wanted donuts that looked like the characters, but I realized I don’t have that kind of time. So I decided to use the main colors of each pup and added matching sprinkles to make them more fun! These donuts were quick to put together and I finished them in the time it took the kids to nap!
Ingredients
Store bought donuts
White melting chocolate
Cooking oil
Oil based food coloring
Assorted sprinkles
Mini chocolate chips
Piping bags or small food storage bags
Directions
Place 1/3 cup of white melting chocolate in a microwave safe bowl. Melt the chocolate in the microwave and stir every 20 secs to keep it from burning. Add cooking oil a teaspoon at a time until it’s thin enough for dipping. Reserve about 2 tablespoons in a piping bag or a small food storage bag for drizzling. Use a toothpick to add a small amount of food coloring to the rest of the chocolate. Dip the donut in the chocolate and set on a tray. Cut the tip of the piping bag and drizzle chocolate over the donut. Then add the sprinkles to make them pretty. Repeat the steps for each pup’s donut. For Marshall, you can use mini chocolate chips instead of sprinkles for the spots. Allow them to harden and let the party begin!
