July 4th Mocktail

Celebrations deserve special drinks and this July 4th mocktail is a great way to enjoy this holiday! I love the summer, but we’ve had some painfully hot days in North Carolina. So, I was inspired by the weather to make something cool and refreshing. I love mocktails since they are more special than a glass of juice and the kids can enjoy them too!

This mocktail requires a little bit of prep work and only a few other ingredients. I used frozen strawberries from our last trip to the strawberry patch but fresh ones will work too.

Ingredients

Fresh or frozen strawberries

Water

Gingerale

Frozen blueberries

Fresh Mint

Directions

Purée the strawberries with a little bit of water in a blender. It should be thick like a smoothie. Then spoon the mixture into a star shaped ice tray or any ice tray you have on hand. Place in freezer and wait until frozen.

Pour gingerale into a glass and add the frozen blueberries and strawberry ice cubes. Garnish with mint and enjoy! You can see a video by visiting my Instagram. Happy July 4th and stay cool!
