These globe cake pops were created for a travel theme baby shower! I wanted something easy to put together and presentable for the dessert table. There are only four ingredients required to make these!
Materials
donut holes
white melting chocolate
cooking oil
Haribo sour streamers
gold paper straws
Directions
Cut the sour streamers into rough continent shapes with a pair of kitchen shears. Melt the white chocolate in the microwave. Stir in a teaspoon of oil at a time until the consistency is good for dipping.
Dip the end of the paper straw into the melted chocolate and insert it into the donut hole. The chocolate helps hold the donut hole in place. Then dip it in the white chocolate. Add three to four continent pieces to the cake pops to make them look like globes.
Stack two cookie cooling racks on top of each other. Insert the cake pop and allow the chocolate to harden. I kind of discovered this by accident since I didn’t have anything to hold them. 😆 You can also use packing foam to hold the cake pops.
If you want an easy and fun dessert for any occasion, hope you give these a try! Please tag me on Instagram if you give these a world! @diy_bucket_list
