DIY Pedestals

I came across these inexpensive plastic plates, cups, and bowls and thought it would be fun to turn them into DIY pedestals! I used them for food display but they can also be used to hold jewelry, decorative balls or potpourri for home decor, or even recycled once you get bored with them. These are so easy to put together and can be used in so many ways!

Materials

2 plastic tumblers

2 10.5” plastic plates

2 38 oz plastic bowls

E6000 glue

Directions

Wash and dry all the dishware. To make the bowl pedestal, you will need a tumbler and the bowl. Add glue on the bottom of the tumbler, making sure to go all the way out to the edge. Then place the bottom of the bowl on top. Apply firm pressure and set aside to dry completely.

For the tall plate pedestal, glue the second tumbler to the bottom of the 10.5” plate.

For the lower pedestal, I glued the bottom of the second bowl to the bottom of the other plate.

These are so simple to put together and you can use them for so many reasons. The dishes are also available in different colors so you can really have fun and mix it up. Hope you give this a try if you are looking for an inexpensive and temporary fix for your next party or project!
