Try These Fun Ideas for Christmas!
Christmas will be here soon and I’ve got 3 gift wrapping wins that will help you with last minute ideas! This holiday is a party for all our senses but it can also be stressful and overwhelming. I love it when there are ways to minimize the stress and keep the jingle in my joy!
1. Wrapping Paper Gift Bag
This is really great when all you have are rolls of wrapping paper but you really need a bag for an oddly shaped gift. Or, it’s Christmas Eve and you can’t be bothered to drive to the store for one bag.
First, pick a cheerful wrapping paper.
Roll out enough wrapping paper to cover your gift and fold in the sides. Tape the seam together.
Fold one end about 1/4 of the length of the bag.
Pull the middle open and crease the edges to form a diamond.
Fold the top and bottom of this diamond so the ends will overlap. Tape the pieces together.
Open the other end and you have a nice bag that’s ready to be filled with cheer!
Once you place the gift inside, fold the top down and punch two holes along the fold. String a ribbon through and tie a bow.
2. Prize inside!
This is inspired by those cereal box prizes that we used to get as kids. We really wanted the prize inside more than the cereal. It’s a fun and easy way to give cash if you haven’t found the perfect gift yet.
Start by picking a favorite snack for the person on your list.
Place cash into a snack size plastic bag.
Open the the seal on the chips but not all the way. Place the money under a stack of chips.
Use a glue stick around the rim of the can and glue the seal back down. Put the lid on and place a “Prize Inside” label on top to get their attention.
3. Plastic Bag Sealer
I’m still running with the “Prize Inside” idea and a mini plastic bag sealer is just what I need. Here is a bag of chips that l’ve placed the cash in.
Seal the bag up with this handy tool and it’s ready for little hands to tear open and rummage through!
Hope you guys enjoyed these 3 gift wrapping wins and have a Merry Christmas!
